Schadenfreuder
Oooh it were fabulous-finishing an album on my birthday. However, after a little appropriate refreshment from a local hostalry I dash back for the last train to Oxford. Only after a while turns out it's the last train to Newbury. Ever tried going down the A4 on a BMf*****gX??! It was only by slipstreaming heavy-goods vehicles I made it TWO AND A HALF HOURS back.
Thankyou Chris for the bottle of wine it was a cold night. Thankyou god for the new licensing laws so the Turtle's open til 4 and for the good people of BEAT FEAST for fat tunes and a comfy sofa (they're there every Tuesday night. No, the Turtle. Don't try be clever.) Feeling rough and sorry next day until I spot the guy in the smart too-wide-at-the-shoulders suit (Got to be an interview that time of day) who's just been blitzkreiged by a real sick pigeon or four so he looks like the statue of Nelson... Sorry mate but you cheered me right up.
